RELAND JOURNAL

The RELAND journal is an interdisciplinary journal covering the subjects of real estate, land planning and environmental management. In specific it focuses on the theoretical and empirical research on methods, regulations and special aspects of real estate valuation, on mass appraisal techniques, and on the economics, investment and management of real estate. RELAND journal provides a forum to develop the above-mentioned real estate issues in an interdisciplinary way involving mainly land use planning policies and issues of environmental protection.

It is well known that land planning and urban land use planning in specific, is considered to be one of the most influential factors in real estate economics and land development. RELAND journal encourages the exchange of ideas on issues related to housing, urban development, historic preservation, urban regeneration and transport as major factors that affect and shape land use policies.

Finally, real estate sector consumes a considerable amount of natural/physical resources and is considered to be a significant source of emissions. Therefore, real estate industry should acknowledge environmental sustainability in its decision-making. Reland journal welcomes contributions in various environmental aspects such as resource quality, quantity and sustainability, environmental economics and valuation, water and energy conservation, waste treatment and disposal, effectiveness of infrastructure as well as environmental planning issues (sustainable architecture and planning, sustainable – green – smart cities).
